What is Ruta?
Ruta is a quiet space to think something through. You bring a question in your own words; Ruta asks one question at a time and, at the end of a journey, writes down what it found: the answer that emerged, the pattern beneath it, your strength, and one next step.
Is Ruta therapy?
Ruta is for reflection. It is not therapy, and it does not replace professional care. If you are in distress, please reach out to someone you trust or to a local crisis line.
Will Ruta tell me what to do?
No. Ruta helps you see what is already there, and the choice stays yours. What Ruta found ends with one next step: a suggestion, never a verdict.
How long does a journey take?
As long as it needs. Some journeys take a quarter of an hour, some take several sittings over a few days. You can pause and come back whenever you like.
Which languages does Ruta speak?
English, German, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian and Turkish. Ruta answers in the language you write in.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
The iPhone and iPad app is coming soon, with the same account as the web. There is no Android app; on Android, Ruta works in your browser.
Privacy
Who can see what I write?
Only you. Your journeys are private to your account. If you invite someone, you choose what they can see: they can compare maps with you, but never read what you wrote.
Is my data sold or used for advertising?
No. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising.
Are my words used to train anything?
No. Ruta writes its replies with Google's Gemini models on Google Cloud, under terms that do not allow your words to be used for training.
Can I download or delete my data?
Yes. In Settings you can download everything you have shared, in one file, or delete your account. Deletion waits 30 days in case you change your mind, then removes everything.
What about the people I add from a text?
Add only texts you have the right to share. A reading of someone is an interpretation of what was written, never the person, and it stays private to you.
Can I lock Ruta?
On iPhone and iPad you can lock Ruta with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.

What is free?
Your first journey, all the way to what Ruta found, one person read from a text, and your picture, with no time limit.
What does Ruta Pro include?
6 new journeys a month (2 open at once), 6 people, 20 texts read and 300 questions a month, dictation, and bringing your whole picture up to date once a month. It costs $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year.
Is there a free trial?
No. Your first journey is free instead, so you can see what Ruta is before paying anything.
How do I cancel?
On the web, in Settings → Subscription. On iPhone, in your Apple Account settings. You keep Ruta Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
